Tasks

His "This Week" page is broken down by week, weekend, and a few other side items. Every Sunday evening, he fills this page with the tasks for the coming week. Important things are colored to make them stand out.

There's also a second column for:

• Deadlines

• Weekly focus - contains the 2 or 3 things that need to be done this week

• Side quests - bonus tasks that are not essential to complete

• Home - includes personal stuff

Projects

This is a pipeline for Edward's important ongoing projects. What he especially likes about this are the individual properties, that can be set. For example, he as a filmmaker has other requirements on properties than someone who works in marketing.

Edward also likes to create templates for his repetitive projects, which saves him time when starting new projects.

Finances and Budget

He created a dashboard for his finances and budgets. This includes things like revenue, expenses, contractors, and monthly costs.

Edward has an accounting day once a month where he goes through his bank statements and transactions.

Note Taking

His journal pages are a place to jot down anything that needs to be tracked or tagged, such as team meetings, client notes, and interesting articles. He uses tags to categorize his notes.

Notion AI

Edward's use cases for Notion AI are:
